About us

Hi, we are a family Ryberg Companies. In 2015, the decision was taken in order to cultivate a more änspannmål and bands. It became of the apples, too, thousands of people.

Organic juicemaking and cider-mill with fruit from our own apple orchard

Köpings Must & Cider are a family run organisation. The family Ryberg-Ericsson. Lena, Johanna and Benjamin. In season we emply around ten persons and we help local sports youth organisations to make money whilst picking friut in the organic orchard.

All of our fruit and berries will be a beverage that is served in restaurants all over the country. Our trees are like wine stocks for a portion of the must is fermented to traditional cider. It contains nothing more than the natural taste of the fermented fruit..
Most of our ciders are dry and a perfect complement for cheeses, seafood, and meat.

Play

Where dreams are woven

The Ryberg-Ericsson's dream was to make beverages from their own organic fruit. The 35 hectares could then support their owners. .
Small farms like ours are, among other things, a great source of biological diversity. Apple orcharding, and a vinegrowing is a major contribution to the carbon deposits. Organic fruit is in short supply in Sweden, and the beverages are made with organic fruits are a great way to add value to an otherwise severly pressured market.

Sustainable - economically, environmentally, and socially-is our motto.
With our employee is, for the most part, to local and regional associations) whose major activity, we are happy to help.

In 2015, we planted fruit trees on a portion of our farmland in Munktorp, Köping,
In 2016, we expanded to an existing organically certified orchard with apples, pears, and plums. This i the first organic orchard in Sweden, Berg, Hallstahammar.
In total there are about 10 hectares of land with fruit and berries. All of the harvest goes to our beverage production. All of the beverages are possible to taste at a tasting at the estate.

With a passion for the beverage

The craftsmanship goes right through from growing to tasting. The fruits are picked by hand when ripe in order to produce the best flavour. They are then carefully sorted and processed.

All the fruits, berries and herbs used in the production are whole. We do not use concentrate or industrially processed additives. All non-alcoholic drinks, are clean, and have no added sugar or chemicals.

Bergs Orchard hosts a large number of varieties that are not commonly grown commercially in Sweden. In total, we have around 20 different varieties that each year make fantastic single variety juices. .

Strong commitment to the environment

We shall, by means of transparency, and a commitment to the environmental issues create trust in our business from customers, shareholders, employees, the public and the government. Issues of the environment shall be incorporated in every aspect of our business.

In the future, every company needs to be more sustainable. But why wait?

  • We will aim to have a reduced impact on the environment.
  • We are going to provide an opportunity to get private garden fruit pressed to juice so that resources do not go to waste.
  • We will always help at least one Young Business per year
  • We take full responsibility for quality of the product, and economy. Statutory salaries, wages, quality and regulatory compliance is reflected in the price of the product. This has to be done at a company that wants to provide a safe place of work
  • Our total production shall be for the benefit of biodiversity
  • We will comply with applicable environmental laws, and those laws, regulations, ordinances and regulations to which we are affected by and, of course, the requirements of the organic certifier in the field of growing and processing.

  • In order to support the local youths sports club, we shall offer the chance to pick fruit, clear weeds, and / or other activities to sponsor their activities..
  • Our workers will be local
  • Our beautiful environment will be opened at blossom and harvest for visitors
  • We work together with the public employment service and the social insurance office in order to provide people who suffers from challenges in a regular work environment, with a natural variety and environment.
  • Our goal is to educate ourselves and our clients in the sustainable management of natural resources
  • We will set equally high demands on our suppliers, contractors and business partners, that we have on our own business.
  • As far as possible, we will engage with local businesses for products and services.
  • Our raw produce are acquired in Sweden. For the most part, organic. When this is not available, we are looking for local options.
  • Our goal is to be transparent in all of our activities. We show the whole line of production during our tastings
  • We will take full responsibility for the recycling of our packaging through an agreement with TMR, and to report annually to the environmental protection agency and the Swedish glass recycling.
